Recommendations before your surf class
- Go to bed early the night before if possible
- Do not have dairy, flour or fat for dinner, but rather something light like salad and protein
- For breakfast and lunch, also no dairy products, flours or fats, preferably some fruit such as a banana, an orange, an energy cereal bar, nuts, stay hydrated before and after each training session.
- Try not to do any physical exertion the same day or the day before your class
- Do not consume alcohol or drugs.
- Arrive at least 15 minutes before the class start time, keep in mind that space in public parking is limited if you come in your vehicle.
- Try not to carry valuable personal items in your vehicle and always make sure there is a trusted caretaker, if not, do not leave your vehicle alone.
- We will try to confirm the beach the night before but it will most likely be very early on the same day of the class, take your time to arrive before 6 am to the Costa Verde beach circuit, remember that The classes are taught on the beaches of Barranco or Miraflores so if there is a change of beach it will not take you more than 5 minutes to get to another beach.
What beach will my surf class be on? What is the meeting point?
- Once you enroll in the academy we will proceed to add you to the WhatsApp group corresponding to your chosen class schedule.
- In this group, the beach will be confirmed on the same day of your class about 30 minutes before, but you must calculate an appropriate time to be on the Costa Verde circuit at a reasonable time.
- If possible, we will try to confirm the class the day before.
- We reserve the right to cancel or postpone any surf class in advance or even on the day of the classes for justified reasons.
Tardiness and absence regulations
- Once enrolled in the academy you have the commitment to attend each class that corresponds to your package and established schedule, the team of instructors will be waiting for your arrival at the beach.
- All reservations for group and private classes are valid for 31 days from the day of payment, after that period no class can be recovered.
- If you cannot attend a class, you must notify us to justify the absence until the previous day at 6:00 p.m., after this time it will not be considered an excused absence, so the class will be lost.
- The reasons for classifying an absence as justified are work-related, health-related, and a medical or accidental emergency.
- If you fall asleep, not only your alarm, you forgot about your class, you forgot to notify or you did not organize yourself and you could not attend class, it will be an unexcused absence which is a missed class.
- Excused absences are classes that you can make up on another class day within the 31-day period of validity under coordination with the person in charge of the academy.
Terms and Conditions
- We do not make any type of refund
- Payment for registration in the academy is 100% in advance
- Classes are non-transferable
- Once your class package has expired, you must proceed with the next payment and send us the payment confirmation up to one day before the start of your classes, maximum at 6:00 p.m. If you do not send the confirmation at that time, we will not consider you for your classes.
Accidents
- The academy is only responsible for providing first aid care to the student, but we are not responsible for any cause of the accident.
- Nor is it responsible for the medical attention that the student must receive, we recommend having insurance against accidents.
- In the case of an accident with another student or person outside the academy, an agreement must be reached between both without involving the participation of any instructor or academy staff.
- In an accident it is not the duty of any member of the academy team to take the student to the medical center, the protocol is that she is the first person who has contact or is available to take him.
Student Behavior Commitment
- Maintain respect and good treatment among colleagues, towards academy staff and external people.
- Do not buy surf equipment without prior consultation with an instructor at the academy.
- You must purchase your own equipment when the instructor sees that it is time for you to do so.
- Do not be distracted by other people outside the academy during the duration of each class.
Demarcation or withdrawal of the student
- If the student decides for personal reasons to withdraw or not continue in the academy for any personal reason, he must inform the director Carlos Cabanillas of his decision so that he can proceed with the farewell protocol and execute the actions to cancel his participation with all ties. with the academy.
- If any member of the academy team observes any offense that contradicts everything stipulated in this agreement or with any point of the academy’s methodology, we will proceed to invite the student to withdraw from the academy and if they refuse, they will be expelled without any type. refund or transfer of classes to another person.
Image Right
- I authorize Eternal Wave, Surf school to publish on it’s website and social networks photos and videos of the different activities that take place on the beach and in other places.
